is devoted to the promotion, representation, understanding and development of contemporary jewellery in the United Kingdom and abroad.
Founded as a membership association in 1997 and registered as a Limited Company in 2006, it recognises a need to foster discussion, debate and critical review and interaction amongst its members. To this end we organise conferences, lectures, seminars, workshops and an annual general meeting for our members. Our regular newsletter, findings, features reviews, information, comment, book offers and discounts and is of benefit to both our members and the wider public. We also produce a monthly e-bulletin featuring news and opportunities.
We welcome as members practising jewellers, associated designers and crafts people, educators, students, gallery owners and retailers, museum curators, critics and collectors - indeed, anyone with an interest in contemporary jewellery.

Hi there,
I'm looking for talented jewellery designers to exhibit in a space I have in East London. Ideally I'm looking for silver smiths, do you know of any? Or of anywhere that offers that course?
Thanks
Tash

Using straw and sinamay, ombre-dye and metal leaf, milliner Sarah Cant brings her new collection to Spring Edition, simple and striking pieces created with traditional hand techniques. Last year’s New Graduate Showcase exhibitor Anna Byers returns with her innovative ‘interactive’ collection, featuring movable elements in endlessly adaptable geometric pieces. We welcome back the classic yet contemporary jewellery from designer Emma Farquharson in a showcase of exquisitely manipulated gold and silver with diamonds and coloured gemstones and Elaine Cox with her highly experimental, sculptural pieces. Amongst the sumptuous textiles at Spring Edition, discover conceptual prints and intriguing fabrications in the accessories of Jo Holland, a photographic artist and Cristina Sabaiduc, a womenswear designer who present their latest collaborations.
