Interdisciplinary. Community. Advocacy. Humor.
I thought it was time we introduced FANCY Gallery to you, the beautiful location where the "CoOperation Tableware" exhibition will take place in the Spring.
Sarah Abramson and I had the great pleasure to talk with the owners on a few occasions, both Sally and Erich are truly wonderful and as excited about the upcoming exhibition as we and YOU all are :-). To make things even better, their location is just a stone throw away from the conference hotel!
So here we go, please take a look:
Founded in 2002, Fancy is a Seattle based company focused on producing high quality, modern jewelry that is 100% handmade, of ethically sourced materials- all precious metals are recycled, all gemstones and diamonds are either repurposed or Kimberly Process approved. In addition to producing custom jewelry, Fancy stocks an eclectic assortment of jewelry and objects created by artists and independent designers. Owners Sally Brock and Erich Ginder are accomplished designers in their own right, splitting time between store and studio, their work has been featured in a range of media that includes: House & Garden UK, National Public Radio, Wallpaper, and The Washington Post.
Fancy’s downtown Seattle storefront features rotating exhibitions of work by emerging artists and designers. If you’re interested in exhibiting at the shop, drop us an email with a proposal and some examples of your work.
