The mother and child idea and design came to me as I noticed the unique shape made by the folds of a piece of fabric. The lines I saw inspired me to take out my sketchpad and pastels and put my natural creativity to work. As I drew the image, I noticed the mother and child together formed the shape of a heart. When finished, I was overwhelmed with the power of the emotional bond between a mother and her child. It affirmed my belief that each child is a precious gift. I turned this drawing into a line of jewelry called “Mother’s Love.” The collection includes a pendant, earrings, bracelet and ring.
