This is a model made from bronze and vacuum formed plastic. These are not the materials I plan to use in my final pieces and I am considering resin, and glass.

Please let me know what you think.
the main objective for this posting is to test my new masters work in the market. So PLEASE send any comments you have.

What materials could you see this in? Have you ever seen anything like it before? What does it remind you of? What does it make you think of?

Also please let me know your occupation for my marketing research.

If you have any ideas about how appropriate this piece is in a craft, sculpture, art, biomorphic or even erotic market please let me know your thoughts.

I am glad there is an interest in a statement and back up information. It's all in the boiling pot. I am still figuring out a lot of it. But I have definelty heard that the bronze pieces you refered to look like a corsette. I defintly think there is something going on about control and the body. I was a dancer for many years, so a lot of the leg and body forms come from that experience.

Hi there

Very interesting work. It reminds me of an artist whose drawings I respect immensely Hans Bellmer, you should look him up I think you have some interesting thoughts.
Where do these ideas come from, what is your thesis statement( sorry I haven't found them if you posted them will you please point me in the right direction)

I would like to see more contrast between a very finished parts and very rough parts. I think part of the material choice can have a play in this.
I also think that each segment you have there can be separate story and explored on their own (the bottom legs, the body middle with the insides, the top. I feel they don't have to be all grouped together.
Are these sculptures and how big are they?

I'm a jewelry artist, that is my occupation!:)

Great job thus far, keep me posted with your progress, I hope this response helps.
Mia
