Visored Barbute

Conceptually based on a 15th century Italian visored barbute in the collection of the Musée de l'Armée in Paris, this barbute features a removable drop-down visor used as additional protection during sparring. The whole is made of 1033 mild steel and varies in thickness between 2.05-1.45 mm (12-15 ga.). The whole weighs in at 7 lbs 12 oz.
