Fifty pieces of fabric taken from particular articles of clothing were folded into rosette patterns. Several events were held where the rosettes were offered. A written survey was taken at the time of the photograph to determine what attracted the person to the piece. In the majority of cases the individual rosettes were chosen based on a personal connection to the fabrics former use.
