How was it made?
Pedestal is wheel-thrown and altered. Tray for egg service is press molded and attached to pedestal. Argyle, lace edging and dot patterns are created with colored slips. Dish is wheel-thrown and altered; it is removable. Piece is glaze fired in an electric kiln to cone 6 with mother-of-pearl luster on round button accents, fired to cone 018.
