Using old pieces of silver-plated cutlery as a starting point - the skull is cut from the bowl of a spoon - I affixed some "left-over" antlers from a belt-buckle I was making and the whole thing grew from there. The hanging section is real deer antler, picked up in the Borders of Scotland, and the piece is set with garnet, tourmaline, spinel and amethyst.
The pendant can be removed, allowing the chain to be worn separately.
