PARTICIPATORY SPORT FOR CRAFT ARTISTS
Another collaboration with Cynthia Toops, this is our third Life Saver ring. It is based on the idea of the poison pill ring but with the twist that this ring contains a life saver.
The ring is sterling silver and brass with a compartment inside that holds an actual Life Saver candy and a Fimo micro mosaic of an angel on top of the lid. This is set underneath a watch crystal.
This ring is about 7/8" in diameter and sits up off the finger about 1/2". It is a size 7.
This piece belongs to Cynthia and is the fulfillment of a trade we made long ago. I got the Alligator brooch below and she got this. For the first time in several years, she will no longer be able to bug me about finally finishing it!

For the next 13 months we'll discuss the trials, triumphs, and tribulations of exhibiting in art shows as emerging artists and established artists. Exhibition coverage will be balanced with tips on how to strategically build a legacy over a length of time, in a way that makes sense to your individual goals as an artist and maker.
Join us each month! There will be surprises around every corner, with photos, videos, SNAG conference coverage, and occasional interviews by rising artists!
