Two-¬‐part pin with found object and environment. Bird skull on snake and staff pin with fabricated pin back and bell jar altered with brass hooks and my favorite quote from TS Eliot. For this piece, I wanted to make a connection between several subjects: Cabinets of Curiosities, modern medicine, faith healing, and totems. I chose to use Cabinets of Curiosities as an inspiration because they represented the idea of reflecting on the horrors of the past, something that I feel future generations will understand when they look back on this stage in our medical history.
