Stoneware and porcelain pottery made in collaboration with Peggi Sue Peters.

MFA Indiana University - Bloomington - 1992
BFA's Alfred University - Chris 1987, Peggi 1988

C & P Studio Ceramics started during 1994 in an old church basement in Delta, PA, with a focus on functional high fired stoneware and porcelain pottery. We developed our own clay and glaze formulas specifically designed for the electric kiln. In 2007 Chris and Peggi relocated to Afton, NY, started a new studio in a restored chicken coop along the Susquehanna River, had their first child, Coleen, and travel as a family to art fairs throughout the mid-atlantic region.

We make a full line of functional dinnerware, baking and serving pieces. Our glazes are dipped and brushed combination of layers over wax resist. Colors are produced with oxides and volcanic ash. Chris makes everything on the potters wheel, and dips the work in glaze. Peggi does all the brush work.
