Enjoy a glass of wine as you discover and discuss contemporary craft with Robert Ebendorf, a seminal figure in the field and curator of Badges & Buttons, Waistcoats & Vests, on view at SCC’s BNY Mellon Center Satellite Gallery from October 12, 2012 to February 17, 2013. Ebendorf will speak about what he finds so compelling in the artwork included in this exhibition, some of which will be relocated to SCC’s Main Galleries in the Strip for the discussion. Admission $20.

I don't recall meeting you at ACC Baltimore in 2007 but my memory is bad - must be getting burned out from enamel and soldering fumes...or just the onset of old age! I hope that I was cordial to you!:)
Are you doing Baltimore this year? I applied to Retail Only and was rejected. I just got back from the Phila. Buyers Market last night - it was pretty empty, not very many buyers, many exhibitors didn't show up, the show turned empty booth spaces into "lounges," etc. I did manage to make expenses - many exhibitors didn't. It was scary. I had a friend along this year and we had fun anyway. Her first time at a wholesale show - she was a bit overwhelmed! I was just to tired and worried to care.... :)

I posted the website for the Costume company I work for, http://www.cospec.com/costume_gallery.html. (We mostly do mascots/book characters, etc).
And yes, I graduated from Kent State last December. I'm enjoying this site so far and it's been a big help in motivating me to get some of my own projects finished!

At the moment, there is a lot of activity on the site, so if you would like to add some photos of your refurbished costumes to crafthaus, a lot of people would get to see this side of your work as well. I, personally, would be most interested to see that. :-)
From your website, I deduce that you are at Kent State and I just wanted to point out another Kent Grad, Michelle Pajak Reynolds, who is a member at crafthaus and does fabulous pieces. Maybe you would be interested to get in touch with her ?
Also, please feel free to add your comments to the discussion topics that are already posted. Of course, if there is something else you'd much rather talk about, please add that to the site so that the rest of us can chime in.
