A New JUNK: rubbish to gold Auction has been launched!

Did you miss bidding in the first JUNK: rubbish to gold auction hosted by Crafthaus? Or did you miss out on winning the first time around?

Well now is the chance to win yet again. For the next two weeks (between 18th Feb-3rd March) you can visit our new auction at www.rubbishtogold.com. Go on, bid; you never know, you might just win :)

About the work

All of the work on sale in this auction was created during our live performance between the 9th-13th of November 2015 at the School of Jewellery using a variety of processes including glue guns, cold connections, latex and silicones created in a high intensity environment over the course of the week. As a result, do be aware that some items may be a little delicate and need to be cared for appropriately.

Unlike our first auction, in this auction as part of JUNK: rubbish to gold Edition No.2 we have a minimum bid amount in place. This is in place for two reasons. Firstly; unlike during the first edition of JUNK: rubbish to gold, for Edition No. 2  we are exhibiting within a formal gallery structure as part of the well-established Jewellery Week in Munich, and as such it is important to reflect both the (modest) additional costs in bringing it over as well as the increased prestige in doing so and secondly; to insure that the charities are guaranteed a fair proportion of the profits of all sales of items won as a result of this second exhibition and whole new physical audience.

How to bid

It is very easy to place a bid on your favourite item:
Find which item you would like and take a note of it’s number.

Please remember for this auction all items have a beginning price of €60.

This means any bid you make must be over €60. Please place your bid in Euros.

Send an email to: auctionrubbishtogold@gmail.com and type in the SUBJECT line:

#[number of object you want to bid on] – [your bid amount- above €60]

In the EMAIL: please include your name and what country you live in.

All emails must be received by midnight of the 3rd of March, 2016. The winning bid will be whoever has bid the highest amount. All winners will be announced within two weeks of the end of the auction. If you have not heard from us after this time, it means unfortunately you were not successful.

All postage and packing charges will be charged on top of this bid price. All items will be posted from the UK. Unless otherwise stipulated all parcels will be sent via Royal Mail (Special Delivery services within the UK and International Signed for other countries).
