Interdisciplinary. Community. Advocacy. Humor.
Named by Time as one of the 100 most relevant creators of these times, Spanish artist-designer Jaime Hayon is at the forefront of a new wave of artists who blur the lines between art, decoration, and design. His whimsical sculptures can be seen on the Sifly Piazza in Tiovivo June 3 through November 27.
Join Sarah Schleuning, the High's Curator of Decorative Arts and Design at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, in conversation with Hayon as they discuss his pushing of boundaries, diverse clientele, and concern for the conservation of craft skills.
Tickets are also available through the Woodruff Arts Center box office at 404-733-5000.
