           that is your 404 error page.

That is what your customers, clients or collectors see right before they leave your website in frustration. 

Looks pretty bad doesn't it?

Here are two methods for finding a 404 error page.
It works for any site.

Some museums have great 404 error pages:

This is the 404 error page for the Salvador Dali Museum

This 404 Error  page includes a quote from Dali which keeps the identity of the website entertaining and memorable for the viewer.

Here is another great example from the Museum of Fine Arts Boston using an image from their collection. This 13th century scroll has new context in the 21st century.
