Two articles were recently published about "VISITING MY STUDIO" and now they are both on line. The
"Visit the Studio" article written by Jennifer Cross Gans was first published in
Metalsmith Magazine. You can read this on line by going to the top of the page for
UPCOMING EVENTS on my web site or

These irons are in my studio. My hallmark is a domestic iron. [A hallmark stamp is the traditional way silversmiths and jewelers marked their work indicating the maker of the piece. Sometimes this is also called the "maker's mark."] My hallmark is a domestic iron complete with an electric cord and a plug with two prongs. This is a pun on the fact that a hallmarking stamp is made from iron (steel) and a tribute to traditional women's work ironing. You can see an image of this hallmark below. Look for this hallmark on all my work.
