Devorah Sperber: Spools of Impressionism

Devorah Sperber is a visual artist who makes deconstructed, pixelated images of well-known artworks using everyday items such as thread spools. Her work explores the links between art, science and technological change. Here, she demonstrates the making of a large-scale piece, and discusses the tricks of perception in viewing it.
