Visiting Artist Reception with Loring Taoka: Saturday, October 20, 5—6 pm

9:30 am—4:30 pm (one-hour lunch break)

*instructor: Loring Taoka, Humor in Craft exhibition & visiting artist from New York, NY

This workshop coincides with the Humor in Craft exhibition and focuses on creating wearable rings that explore the maker's personal humor. Students will learn basic sawing, filing and soldering skills, and combine these with non-traditional materials to create wearable, humorous art.
