Hello All!

Sorry for the big lag between posts, but I've spent the past few weeks getting ready to move, moving, and unpacking from the move. Now that I'm mostly settled, I'm looking forward to blogging more regularly.

There's lots of opportunities for the membership, to give, contribute and participate.

First off, in response to the flooding in Louisiana, the Craft Emergency Relief Fund has put together a resource page for artists who have been affected. If you have been affected by the flooding, check out their page here for more information on how to apply for ...

If you'd like to donate to CERF's relief efforts, you can do so here.

Long time metalsmith Carol Webb is facing medical expenses for a lung cancer diagnosis, as well as other mounting living expenses. She's a little shy of half way to her goal, so please consider giving if you can. Her  Go Fund Me page can be found here.

Over on Indigogo, Linda Kaye-Moses is trying to raise money to create a new body of work. These 10 pendants are based off of the end of chapter drawings in her original hand drawn book. She's a little over half way to her goal, with seven days left to go. You can read more about her proposal and donate here.

Kathryn Osgood will be teaching a surface embellishment workshop at the Pullen Arts Center in Raleigh, September 17-18. 9am-4pm, for only $120.00. You can learn more and register here.

SNAG is also looking for a conference planning intern for SNAG Nexus, 2017 in New Orleans. This is a 15 hour a week position, that can be done remotely. There's no pay, but SNAG will cover the intern's conference fee, travel, and hotel accommodations. You can learn more here. Deadline Sept. 7.

Thanks for reading! Happy Weekend!
