'Meteora'Anodized titanium, silver, ruby, green aventurine H 3.47’’ x W 1.23’’ x D 0.47’’

Anodized titanium, silver, ruby, green aventurine
H 3.47’’ x W 1.23’’ x D 0.47’’
Reclaimed titanium,
sculpted, sandblasted,
anodized.
My inspiration for this piece was derived from a place in central Greece named Meteora .
My work has been inspired by this paleolithic and spiritual landscape. The reclaimed titanium, has been first sculpted and then anodized to create raw organic earthy colors. My contemporary interpretation communicates symbolic ritual and spiritualism.
For all the fabrication process I work the metal directly without molds. I drill, divide, reshape, and polish the metal with wet application. Anodized with brush applicator techniques.
