This art work is the result of a philosophical direction that I have had my whole life, and it has been inspired from my interest in civilizations around the world .
The composition of the different religious symbols on the petals of the lotus is a voice for a circle of unity on earth and liberation from the sociopolitical languor or religious fanaticism.
In my travels I have discovered that many of the same cultural patterns and motives have appeared in different cultures that are unrelated in place and time.
Some of these motives illustrate the circle around the lotus of the sculpture.
Over all, this work is a call for international peace and compassion.
