This piece is made of candle wax by dripping hot wax onto my skin. It is then coated in resin to add to the dripping effect.

Oh what a beautiful image. I totally know what you mean, that moment when the snow goes from perfect white, to slushy swirls. :)

This reminds me of snow after 10 minutes hitting the ground in New York city.

Ah yes. I can melt the wax out! Which is so exciting, but I need to build up a thicker layer of resin so it can stand on it's own. Or I could fill it with resin afterwards. I do have a picture of me making it and it does make my arm red. :) I might try putting placiticine over my arm so I am not dripping the wax right onto the skin.
