Planning ahead: April 2016 Hammerworkshop with Glen Gardner in Pittsburgh

Archaeological evidence reveals that hammer like tools have been in use for well over 2 million years! With a reverence for the past and eyes towards the future, come and experience what it really means to be a metalsmith as we explore the techniques of forging, forming and raising.

Tuition for this workshop is $160. There is a $35 materials fee to be paid on the first day of the workshop, for consumable materials provided by the instructor.

The Society for Contemporary Craft is conveniently located in the heart of Pittsburgh and in the middle of an eclectic shopping/dining/entertainment area called the "Strip District". Close top downtown and the Smithsonian Pittsburgh History Museum. Ample parking everywhere, safe to walk around, great fun. Make this one a trip to Pittsburgh - you'll love it there!
