Thanks for the vote of confidence guys. As I haven't yet perfected the art of being everywhere at once - working on it! - any input you have at the time will be most welcome.
Absolutely agree with ann, Juia's perfect for the job ! If I can help with anything or translating count me in - that is, right after I send you what I should have sent you a few months ago, Julia ;o) I'm still catching up trying to get that snowball effect become smaller ...
And, Julia and Ann, You guys are nuts ! But yeah, if you find a gadget that does the work for me then count me in ;o)Direct onto the brain would save time ...
Linda, m-dear ! You've got a lot going ! Sounds good ! Bummer we won't see you in Chicago ! I haven't yet worked out the rest of the trip, Pennsylvania is in so far (after the conference), but haven't gotten around to your end yet, might be too late ... I will let you know if anything works on that end ...miss you ! As for the snow, that's 30 cm and a lot of snow ! Our weather has gotten warmer here on the coast. We've got about 53°F right now (ok, I confess, my Mac has a neat little gadget that I consult for conversions ;o)
Enough talk ! It's almost mid-night over here, so ...g'night or good-morning maybe, huh, Brigitte ?
:o)
And last ... HAPPY NEW YEAR !!! o:-)
OK, jealous of all you conference go-ers. I'm working on: a project, a series of five pieces with enclosures (Nesting Cases); a new book (nope, not a tech book), teaching a coupla workshops; a family history; and doing shows. I don't want to leave home this coming Summer (though right now would be GREAT! Expecting about 1+ feet of snow today and tomorrow (and, no Angela, I can't convert that to meters). Aren't we, all of us 'makers' devoted to and obsessed with what we do?
And Angela, when are you coming here, before or after the conference?
Hugs all around, and happy new year,
Linda Kaye-Moses
Oh, I thought you had an implant!!!hahahha
you know one of those futuristic things that projects the screen in front of you and you are connected all the time!!
Guys -
You are a fast responding group. The first person on the mat was Julia Rai from the UK. She responded within seconds !! Amazing !
Julia will be attending both the conference and the workshop, so I think we are all set. However, more is more, so if someone else would like to team up with her to co-blog that would be excellent too. Kind of takes the burden off of everyone. We did that last year with the Polymer Clay group's conference and it worked really well. It's good to get different perspectives in.
So, if interested, please be in touch with Julia directly and figure out, please, who would like to do what and how you can help each other, then get back to me and we'll set you up.
Thanks again SO MUCH for the positive response.
Speed queens!
