Make Your Own Metal Clay Punches (4PAM_12)

Ever find yourself with in the middle of a metal clay project and couldn't locate a punch or clay cutter in the right size or shape? As you can see in the piece "Sophia," that along with the circular granulation, there is also a tear drop shape. …See More

Okay, okay, so I didn't catch up in time. That means the next two weeks I'll be posting two processes in an attempt to make up for last month. My recent blog and 4PAM slacking isn't apathy related, I've just been juggling lots of projects. So if you happen to be one of my projects, I'll be right with you... really... soon... Art Jewelry is a great magazine and you were right to jump at the chance, of course! I was teasing you...and also inviting you to think about and propose a project article idea to us at MCAM as well. If you're interested, contact Jeannette or me privately and we can discuss your project ideas whenever you're ready. :)

Next time try sending it to us at MCAM.  I'm sure we can give you a much better turnaround time than that! ;)  Meanwhile, I'll look forward to reading your project in Art Jewelry as soon as it comes out. :)

Thanks so much, Wanaree! One of these days I hope you'll tell me how you created the threaded screw-together attachment on your fabulous pendant necklace with the secret compartment. So gorgeous! :)

Welcome to crafthaus, the network for fine craft artists and those who support them! I am very glad you joined us! Your crafthaus membership is valid through March 15, 2012.

Please look around and add your thoughts to the groups, blogs and discussions. Crafthaus is a participatory sport!

Please note that ALL images sent to the website editor are vetted to assure a measure of overall quality control. Unlike other image sharing websites, crafthaus is not a "free-for-all". Our members present their work in front of an educated and critical audience (their peers,) so the photos have to be GREAT. Our goal is to show our members' work in the best possible light. From the many images received daily, we aim to post as many as possible. Crafthaus heartily encourages comments from the membership, however, with regard to photos posted or not, we have a strict "NO WHINING" policy in effect! :-)

If there are ever any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to email me via crafthauseditor@live.com anytime, I will do my best to be of help.

I hope you will enjoy being with this network, and will find the exchanges interesting and fun.

Again: Welcome !
