FOREVER21 TRADE BEADS

"At first glance I never would have guessed the true origin of the material! They are totally transformed and look like antique trade beads. I work a lot with African trade beads and this definitely caught my attention."

The MFA Guidebook for Studio Artists

This blog is intended as a guide for potential and current MFA students, focusing on those in the craft disciplines. By sharing my own experience, articles I find and interviews I conduct, I will work to offer guidance to studio artists who may be nervous to start the journey alone so that they can have the same phenomenal opportunity and experience that I’m…See More

Hi Lindsey! Thanks for your kind words. I really enjoyed checking out your work here on crafthaus. You're interning with Brigitte?! How cool! In answer to your question: I have a few other galleries that represent my work, Facéré in Seattle, Julie Artisans in NYC, etc. So, do you live in Pittsburgh then? I was there last winter for my show at Luke & Eloy, such an interesting little city.

Down to the Waterline – “Stain-Less” in Sheffield

They like their fountains in Sheffield.  The first thing that greets you on leaving the railway station is a wonderful cascade of water.  I walked across the city centre to my hotel and the peace gardens had fabulous fountains and children leaping around them, it seemed every courtyard was running water for the newly warming Springtime.…See More
