Yes BUSY BUSY BUSY

Hey Nice images - well no wonder when you have Tom as a teacher.
Students should be more happy that he pushes than complain ...

Are you going to SNAG? Say Hi to Tom and tell him I am seriously hammered with work this semester - I started something very silly
making video movies of my lectures and now I just cannot tell my students I dont want to any more ...

Ah well what is once done can be used later.

Teresa,

Thank you for the positive comments on my work. I really do enjoy a sense of spontaneity in my design process.

Your work shows a similar sensibility. Your sphere pendant is reminiscent of a set of designs I've been playing with for the past couple of years, exploring layering and a sense of selectively revealing hidden layers.

Best of luck finishing your BFA. That's a great accomplishment!

Karen

Interviewing NCECA 2013 Emerging Artist Linda Swanson

NCECA 2013 Emerging Artist Linda Swanson makes us think about ceramic materials in a new and dynamic way.  Her installation, site specific, fired and unfired work all has an emphasis on time, material and transformation.  Linda generously shared her time and thoughts with me about her current studio practice and the path that has led her there.  I hope you enjoy this interview with Linda Swanson.  You can see more of her work at: …See More
