"Hello Patti, I saw your piece this morning in the "Who is new" Crafthaus page, and I just had to tell you how beautiful it is. Very delicate, yet I'm sure it's form gives it strength. Beautiful work!
Place of Work ? Example: Studio, College, Gallery, Museum, ...)
I am a .... Example: Student, Maker, Educator, etc.
I graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2009, I am working from my private studio. My current focus is of course jewelry, but also some small sculptural items of blown glass and I make my own glass beads.
I grew up in the Sierra Nevada Mountain range in California, and I love anything from nature. I am working on a body of work with natural elements such as Dinosaur Gembone, Petrified Woods and Mammoth Ivory. I enjoying cutting many of my own stones and doing metal fabrication.
I have some background in Interior Design and I am a retired nurse.

Hey Nice images - well no wonder when you have Tom as a teacher.
Students should be more happy that he pushes than complain ...
Are you going to SNAG? Say Hi to Tom and tell him I am seriously hammered with work this semester - I started something very silly
making video movies of my lectures and now I just cannot tell my students I dont want to any more ...
Thank you for the positive comments on my work. I really do enjoy a sense of spontaneity in my design process.
Your work shows a similar sensibility. Your sphere pendant is reminiscent of a set of designs I've been playing with for the past couple of years, exploring layering and a sense of selectively revealing hidden layers.
Best of luck finishing your BFA. That's a great accomplishment!
