Tomoko Sakumoto - the power of line and form

Tomoko Sakumoto creates ceramics using simple shapes and lines. These are not your usual striped pieces. They are extremely precise - so much so that the design elements of the lines are completely in sync with the form. At first, you’re tempted to just give them a cursory glance because the forms are so basic - but then you see the lines and how they can change the form, depending on the vantage point from which you view them. Cool stuff!
