Studio Sanctuaries - Part 2

Few things are more important to an artist than their workspaces. Part sanctuary, part workshop, part hang-out: This exhibit honors our studio spaces where we spend most of our time.

Please send me a short paragraph about your work submitted to the Ephemeral Pleasures Online Exhibition. This should be several sentences about your idea in the piece(s) and how it fits into the exhibition. Please email me at chelseyradabaugh@gmail.com by Friday, May 22nd.

It is funny because your works truly remind me of Miyazaki Hayao's newest animation which has not been seen besides in Japan yet. I love your works ! Thank you for being friends with me and mention Totoro because I am sure my works are influenced by his animation since I have been watching his film for about 20 years !

SNAG Toronto part 3

I come from a very different background than most at the conference. I apprenticed with a self taught flutemaker. After 3 years, the only CV I left with was a flute I made that got me hired by a Boston company. I designed my own flute from experience and imagination. To this day my work has always been my only resume. At the SNAG conference almost everyone had a college degree in the arts. Whenever a speaker was introduced, their education highlights were listed along with the schools they were…See More
