Music post

I have not noticed much music on this site...so I thought I would jazz my page up with a song my hubby just recorded (literally...he just received the cd's in the mail on Tuesday (4.21.09). Anyway...I was hoping for some opinions as to the genre of the music. I am finding it difficult to put it into a category and was hoping you all could help. You can find it on the left side of my page. Thanks,
Aimee:-)

LARK 500 Plastic Jewelry by Anthony Tammaro

A little shot in the arm come by way of the post box yesterday. A letter stating that two of my pieces have been selected for publication in the 500 Plastic Jewelry book by Lark. It's been so long since I submitted these photos I thought for sure they had been rejected. Anyway, I'd also like to give props to all the other artists who have been accepted. Fun stuff.

Best,

Anthony…

Pop-Bead Neckpiece

This neckpiece recently sold to a veteran collector. The design was inspired by my childhood time spent creating jewelry with plastic "pop-beads", and is one of my favorite pieces.

viking weave

Finally taught myself the Viking Weave. The first one was so-so, the second much improved and the third the best I could ever hope for. Also learned the Kumihimo silk braid weave, extremely easy with the right gadgets.

What Have I Been Up To?

Since returning from Istanbul, it has been non-stop in the workshop, preparing work for orders and making some new pieces too. I've sidelined a number of works-in-progress in order to get on with more pressing issues, so there are no updates on my Chanel-inspired piece or my tribute to Alexander McQueen, though I have progressed apace with my first foray into electronics in jewellery, "14th Century Nightlife" which I hope to finish finally this coming week after it sitting on my bench for…See More
